Based on ongoing NLP modeling projects of the higher logical levels of "identity" and "spirit", this workshop will explore how perception of the structure of the sacred transforms all other levels. As we investigate the structural similarities between NLP and traditional world views, we’ll explore our own deep cultural programming by experiencing Native American world views and the topography of the Sacred.
We’ll draw from different cultures and many sources to discover new patterns of balance, harmony, and wholeness. North American plains Indian, Hawaiian, and especially highland Andean shamanistic approaches will be our guides. This workshop is your opportunity to step beyond your mask of 21st century postindustrial personality into a landscape of timeless possibility.
Skills you will develop:
Exchanging vital energy with others (shamanic 2nd position shifts)
"Eating" negative energy (pacing and leading via shamanic rapport)
The use of love as healing energy (the power within the spirit)
"Peripheral" mental abilities (beyond the conscious/unconscious split)
Working with your own sense of a higher power ( meta-resource states)
Strategies for developing 'energetic' rapport (beyond pacing physiology)
Territory you will explore:
The Topography of Time; Sacred, Subjective, Linear, Cyclic, Causal and Creative
The Domain of reciprocity, balance, and alignment.
Perceptions you will enhance:
" Multi-sensory" awareness; awareness beyond the five senses.
Awareness of universal connectivity; our participation in the "web of life."
Distinctions between ordinary and non-ordinary reality
The use of intuition as a reliable guide
In addition to the material covered above, we will also explore Nightwalking:

From the Taoists of early China who called it "Lung-gom-pas" to the works of Carlos Casteneda who named it ‘stopping the world,’ mystic texts throughout history have talked about a certain kind of all-seeing gaze. With special tools and techniques you’ll explore the ‘witness position’ of consciousness by day and the mystic hill country of Austria by night as you learn this perceptual strategy designed to liberate the energy of attention, as it enhances intuition and creativity .
Developed by Nelson Zink and Steve Parks of the Embudo Center, Embudo, New Mexico, NightWalking is a perceptual strategy designed to enhance intuition, creativity, and develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and our relationship with the world around us. By using specific strategies and tool to develop our ‘peripheral awareness’, we’ll learn how to stop our internal dialogue and enhance our intuitive abilities. We’ll experience our connection to our own consciousness and to the Earth by stepping into the realm of perception beyond the five senses.
